On April 28th, we were visited by the lovely Yumena-san of Yamagata Yamane Kenkyukai and her three assistants, Ayane, Toshi, and Rihito, who came to teach us the best way to avoid bears, wasps, hornets, and bees when we visit the forest this summer, and what to do if we get too close to our awesome but dangerous forest friends. Yumena-san also brought along a friendly Black Bear (expertly played by Rihito-kun), and after some image training, and quiz activities, we made our very own insect repelling spray, and an insect repelling stone. It was a lot of fun, and we all learned things that might save our lives one day! Thank you everyone, see you again soon!
4月28日、やまがたヤマネ研究会の中村夢奈さんとアシスタントの皆さんによる、「身近な自然でのゼロエイド＆ファーストエイド〜オリジナル虫除けアロマをつくろう〜 First Aid in the Forest」ワークショップをデコボコ英語で開催しました。これから足を向ける機会が多くなる森で、もしクマやスズメバチと出会ってしまったら、どうすればいいのか？クマの毛皮を使ってリアルに教えてくださいました。その後、虫除けアロマとアロマストーン作りを行いました。こんなに近くにこんな危険が潜んでいるなんて！とみんな驚きながらも、大変ためになるお話をうかがうことができて、実りのあるワークショップでした。英語のワークシートでしっかり復習し、次回のワークショップでの外歩きに備えよう!
